South Africa goes Germany: Delegation trip mining technology

Helmut Schgeiner, VDMA

B2B in Germany: New business potential for suppliers through South African buyers and multipliers from 11 to 15 November 2019.

On the initiative of VDMA Mining, an information trip for South African buyers and multipliers from the mining, raw materials and mining technology sectors to North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, will take place for the first time. The dates of the trip are set for the VDMA Mining Industry Meeting on 14 November 2019 in Essen.

The trip, supported by the Federal Ministry of Economics (BMWi), is intended to promote business opportunities for German SMEs with the aim of inviting interested groups of customers from South Africa to Germany. The buyers will primarily visit companies that are individually tailored to their interests. South African decision-makers should make and encourage purchase and/or cooperation decisions and contribute to the dissemination of technical information.

Against this background, the Southern African-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, supported by VDMA Mining, is organising a five-day information trip. The contents include specialist information and presentation events, company visits and on-site object visits and serve to promote exchange and intensive networking between South African buyers and the German mining community. Direct access to the mining supply industry will be ensured by the link to the VDMA Mining Industry Meeting on 14 November 2019 in Essen.

The acquisition of the participants is carried out by the Southern African-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry. René Zarske is happy to receive information on potential customers in South Africa, which should be addressed in the interest of the suppliers.
